Adding the Theater
Additional $10pp

*An additional $1,500 - 3,000 production/coordination fee will be added to the subtotal and 8.875% NYS sales tax.

The Venue

Located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan, it is just minutes from Flatiron, Midtown, Penn Station and more. HELEN MILLS is the perfect place to host your next alumni reception.

The venue features a spectacular 4,000 square foot loft-like Event Space with a beautiful 37-foot long, hand-crafted bar. The venue also features a 140-seat Theater that can be rented in addition to be used for a presentation, a panel discussion, a screening or a performance.

Catering & Beverage Package

Your event includes stationary hors d'oeuvres and desserts with a beer and wine beverage service, along with catering and bar staff. For an additional fee, passed hors d'oeuvres and/or a full bar with spirits are available. We also welcome licensed, outside caterers and food trucks. See here for vendor insurance requirements.

Furniture, Decor & BRANDING

The venue rental includes our in-house furniture and decor inventory. The collection is a sleek mix of white leather ottomans, brushed metallic cocktail tables, white acrylic reception chairs, and more. 

The venue is fully brand-able with a number of creative street-level and interior signage opportunities available. The two spaces feature gallery molding along the walls and a ceiling grid in the event space for hanging additional signage or decor. See lighting (below) for more branding options.

Tech & Lighting

HELEN MILLS features state-of-the-art tech & lighting, which is included in your package, along with an A/V technician to assist you with your tech needs. Details include: 

  • 3 projectors in event space, 1 in theater

  • Sound system and PANDORA for business in the Event Space, surround sound in the Theater

  • Dedicated, high-speed wireless and wired internet (100 mbps)

  • Single-color wall wash and gobo projection

  • One wired or wireless microphone in the event space, up to six in theater
